Where to look for an adviser
Using the professional expertise of a financial adviser can be reassuring when making big decisions about your money. They can help you put a short and long-term plan together whether you’re looking at pensions and investments, or insurance and mortgages.
We’ve provided links to services below and the advisers on these sites can sell products from other providers, as well as from us. The adviser may charge for their services – though they should agree any fees with you upfront.
Advisers for pensions and retirement
Moneyhelper brings together the support and services of three government-backed financial guidance providers: the Money Advice Service, the Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise.
Their Adviser Retirement Directory can help you find regulated and impartial advisers, to give advice on topics such as:
- Pension and retirement planning
- Long-term care planning
- Equity release
- Inheritance tax planning or wills and probate. These are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
Start by deciding if you want to meet your adviser in person, or online, then narrow down your search by choosing what you need help with.

More information about our relationship with Wealth Wizards
We've provided this information to help you find financial advice. Please review the options on this page carefully. As Wealth Wizards is part of Royal London, note that Royal London will benefit financially if you choose chargeable services from Wealth Wizards. Advisers for life insurance and critical illness cover
VouchedFor is a directory of advisers independent to Royal London. Their advisers are checked against the Financial Conduct Authority Register and they can sell a range of products, not just those from us.
If you have a medical condition that might make it more difficult to find cover, The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) can help you find an adviser. Call them on 0370 950 1790.
